Affiliate Disclosure

How this site earns money, in plain language.

ArthursSeat.com is free to use. It is funded by affiliate commissions: when you click certain links and make a booking, the company you book with may pay us a small share, at no extra cost to you.

Who we work with

  • GetYourGuide — tours, tickets and activities. Links and booking widgets carry our partner reference.
  • Trip.com — hotels and other accommodation.

What this means for you

You pay the same price as you would by going to those sites directly. Bookings, payments, changes and refunds are handled entirely by the provider, under their terms.

What it does not change

Climbing Arthur’s Seat is free, and we say so on every page. We recommend a guided hike only where we think it adds something, and we choose tours on their content, reviews and fit with a visit to the hill — not on commission. We do not accept payment for inclusion or ranking.

Prices and availability

Prices, ratings and review counts shown here are indicative and were correct when last checked. The live figure on the provider’s site is the one that applies.

Plan your day on the hill

A volcano before lunch, a palace after

Arthur’s Seat rises straight from the foot of the Royal Mile. Pair the climb with a guided hike, Holyrood Palace, an Old Town walk or a whisky tasting — compare and book in a couple of taps.
